The
XLi / XLp / XLt 500 PMA uses an Am241 isotope for efficient excitation
of all the platinum and gold alloys. The Am241 isotope has a half-life
of 431 years. There will be no perceptible loss of testing speed for at
least 100 years, and no re-sourcing required - ever. Accurate analysis
of virtually any metal, with no user-required standardizations or calibrations,
using our high resolution silicon PIN-diode detector (<280 eV FWHM)
and full fundamental parameters analysis. Use XLi / XLp / XLt 500 to analyze
Au, Ag, Pt, Rh, Ru, Ir, Pd, Cu, Zn, Ni, Co, and Fe. Standard features
