MD-20 & MD-25 Portable Wire Rope Tester

The MD-20 / MD-25 Wire Rope Tester is a simple to use instrument to test the condition of small diameter ropes. It indicates the occurrence of rope defects that exceed the set level of detectability. The instrument is designed to detect stepwise defects such as wire breaks and localized corrosion.
The MD-20 is designed to check 8 to 22 mm diameter rope while the MD-25 10 to 25mm diameter rope. Both types are with adjustable sensitivity level, audio-visual indicator, battery-operated, light weight (less than 5kgs), designed for rapid speed inspection up to 150meter per minute, and output socket to strip-chart recorder.
It can also be used as a sensor head connected to the more advanced Meraster MD 120, which determines defects more accurately, or can be connected to a general purpose recorder.
