Sonaspection specialize in manufacturing flawed specimen for NDT training & examination purposes. The specimens are available in kits, single as well as custom made.

Education Kits
Sonaspection educational kit is a set of miniature welds, sections and photo-radiographs to demonstrate the principles of flaw detection, flaw interpretation and basic sizing. Kits are available in UT, RT, MT, PT and VT methods and in different materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and Aluminum.

Weld Flaw Set
Sonaspection basic weld flaw set contains small lightweight and convenient to handle weld specimens. The sets are designed for practical training to provide and introduction to flaw detection, sizing and interpretation. Sets are available in UT, RT, MT, PT and VT methods and in different materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and Aluminum.

Advanced Flaw Evaluation
Sonaspecton flawed specimens are designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of all known internationally recognized qualification program for flaw detection, flaw sizing and flaw interpretation. Each specimen is in realistic size welds. Flawed specimens are available either individually or sets and ideal for level 2 training, practice and qualification e.g. ACCP, ASNT-TC-1A, PCN, EN473, API and others.

Casting and Forging Flaw
Sonaspection has developed these small and light weight specimens which contain typical flaws found in cast and forged components. The specimens are designed for practical training to provide experience in flaw detection, sizing and interpretation. specimens are available either individually or sets in either MT, PT or UT.

Reference Blocks for Power Generation
Sonapection’s in-depth knowledge of NDT and performance demonstration give them a unique insight into the requirement of these specialty reference blocks that are machined to exacting standards, manufactured from ultrasonically clean steel and supplied with a CAD drawing.
